Geneva has optimal connections to the international rail network. The railway station Gare de Corvain its the Central Sation and the ninth largest station in Switzerland. Every day over 115`000 people use the station. Corvain is a transit station and has 8 tracks. The opening was in the Year 1858. The SBB calls the station simply: Genevè. An the SNCF calls it Genevè - Corvain.
